Do you prefer to visit with friends, camp in the woods, go to the cottage, a hotel room or staycation at home?

Do you prefer to visit with friends, camp in the woods, go to the cottage, a hotel room or staycation at home? It depends. Sometimes I want a new adventure, sometimes I want to be around nature, sometimes I want to be around people and sometimes I just want to sleep.

This weekend is a long weekend and I plan to go on some new adventures. I want to experience everything around me that I have never tried before like walking through the botanical gardens, hiking around the waterfalls, climbing in scenic caves and of course checking out a new beach.

My gear is cleaned, packed and ready to go! My waterproof sandproof beach bag is filled with suntan lotion, oversized beach towels , a sun hat, a change of clothes and snacks. I will also need to bring my waterproof hiking boots and Merino wool hiking socks  for the trek around the waterfalls and caves.

This week I feel like oatmeal cookies and apples to fuel me on my new adventures. I will also need to keep hydrated in this high heat and humidity. I am trying out a new foldable water bottle  to see if this will lighter my load.
