Our summer rental home experience...

So we decided to rent a home in the middle of the city for the summer. It was a large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2 story renovated townhouse that checked all of our boxes. The necessary primary (not master any more) bedroom with full ensuite and walk in closet, second and third bedrooms with full bathroom. The main level had a formal entry with a powder room, living room with fireplace, dining room/home office, Kitchen with walkout to patio. The basement was for laundry and storage.

The area was beautiful with trails and a river flowing through it. We cycled through the trails every day. The neighbours were really friendly. We started a Facebook Group in the first month connecting everyone. We shared gardening and delivery driver stories. The focal point of conversation was the reconstruction of the parking garage in the centre of the complex. The workers woke us up at 7:00am with their equipment and entertained us all day with their loud music and graphic stories.
