My preference is to always walk around in bare feet inside and outside. I love the feel of the different textures beneath my feet. It also keeps the muscles in my feet strong and flexible. However, in this summer rental, the tile floors are simply too hard.
First I thought about wearing socks but I am not a sock person. The only time I wear socks is in the winter to ski. Then I thought about wearing flip flops. They are supportive yet not very flexible. I need soft, flexible, comfortable, supportive footwear.
So then I tried slippers. They are soft, flexible and comfortable, but are they supportive? I found a pair of slippers for women that are soft, made of cotton, washable and have a non-slip rubber sole for indoor and outdoor use.
